Today, I finished this card for Priscilla's sketch challenge (MMSC20). I had to play along. The sketch was too fun to work with. Making Memories scrapbook paper and coordinated it with some sanded CTMH cardstock. I really enjoyed the combination. I then pulled out one of my SU sets for the focal image. I decided to use the cracked glass technique for a more heirloom look. I finished off the card embellishing with one of the new brad by Chatterbox and some metal corners. I think that I will few more of these for some really good friends. Thanks for stopping by, K.

Today, I am sharing several pieces that I created with that lovely Chloe's closet. The inspiration for these pieces was Priscilla's challenge last week. As soon as I pulled Chloe out, I knew that it was going to be a fun day. The focal images in the the 1st and 2nd pieces were from Penny Black's collection. After making a decision on all of the Chloe pieces, I decided to add some dew drops, flower and buttons. Each layer was aged with linen distress inks. I also used coordinated inks from SU and CTMH to pull the colors together. The cards were made from the same stash. In viewing the actual sketch challenge, I actually broke several of the sketch components to create several items. Enjoy!

I found a really neat color combo challenge over at Kelly Jo's Stamp Pad. This is such a great way to play with combos that you may not typically play with. For this challenge, I needed to dust off the Crystal Blue and Cranberry ink by CTMH. The challenge also called for the use of Cocoa. I used all colors with multi layers-Love that! I used the "Treasures" set again tonight...:)I complimented the set and color combo with some sheer polka dot ribbon, CTMH "Cherish" charm, dew drops, and stickles for glitz. I actually put the stickles under the dew drops for a mini snow globe affect. I like it! Enjoy!

Today was a good day. I got a chance to put the final touches on a card that I created. I wanted to work with something a little new using text, but also use old product, while at the same time making full use of my current stash. I was able to do all that with this 1 card. I started this card by choosing text from an old book. I tore out a page of text, airbrused some copic colors onto the text, stamped some old butterflies and a dragonfly by SU onto the page, and then I started my layering process until I achieved my desired look. I added some stickles for a look of glitz. Then I added some clips, epoxy quotes, a worded stamp by Stampabilities, and an artificial flower to pull up some of that beautiful subtle copic dark pink in the background. I enjoyed working with the text from my old book. I definitely will do more of this. Enjoy!

I just got my hands on this lovely set, and had to play. I absolutely LOVE this set. I think that it will have many uses and so perfect for cards and scrapbook pages. Today I decided to create some cards with this set. To compliment the set, I used scrapbook paper called Grace, honey ink, acrylic tags, and clips-all by CTMH. I finished the cards with some coordinating dew drops. I can not express how excited I am about this set and the final product. The best part of it all-the set is free with a $100 purchase. You can't beat that...:) Hugs, K

Today, I would like to share some cards that I recently made for an "Anything Goes" swap. I used some K and Co. paper with some more of that tangerine SU cardstock and ribbon. I love it when you can coordinate products crossing lines of companies. That really makes your stash so versatile and so much fun to use. The stamps used were the same as in the last post. I didn't have to go far into my stash to complete these cards. Love that! Enjoy!

Last night I put the final touches on some assorted cards that I made. I used some scrapbook paper by K & Co to create these. I also complimented the scrapbook paper with some tangerine SU cardstock, ink and ribbon. The worded stamp that was used is by Rubber Soul. Love the stamp! I found it at my local stamp store, Family Memories. I have used it so much over the past year. I also used a dandelion stamp by Penny Black. The last touches to the cards were some dew drops-such a great accent. Enjoy!

This card was created for Priscilla's sketch challenge. I enjoyed playing with the sketch. I used some papers from one of my older Scrapbook Obsessions kits. The papers and embellishments that I chose had a vintage feel and I thought that they would work well with the sketch. Really enjoyed this... I hope that you do too...:)
